What to look for in an agent
- First, the obvious...your agent should be experienced and you must feel comfortable with him or her. This seems unnecessary to state but many buyers and sellers work with agents they've not even spent some time with on the phone. I recommend that at the very least.
- Second, I listen. Again, sounds like nothing new, but the reason I get so many referrals from past clients is because I represent your interests according to your needs, not mine. My recommendations and feedback are based directly off what you've told me your priorities are.
- Third, because I've been in the business so long, I have worked with hundreds of loan officers and many title companies. There's a reason the number of these folks I work with I can count on one hand. They are the best of the best. Their rates are competitive and their attention to my clients is exemplary. I would never risk my clients' experience in working with me by referring them to someone who is mediocre.
- Finally, I am a rare local. I grew up here...I am raising my family here...I work here.
